Finding Domains:

domainresource.co.uk is a good start! search our lists of unregistered .coms, .nets and other domains . These lists will be updated at least twice a week.

Have a search on google and see what kind of names are being used

Try nameboy.com. Just type in your key word and they suggest domains for you. Not always the best source but some of the names they come up make us laugh!

Registering Domains

We always find godaddy.com to be the cheap and easy to use for most domain apart from .co.uk's. For .co.uk's we prefer streamline.net but only if you are going to upgrade to hosting as the domain cost of the domain is taken off the hosting price when you upgrade which counter-acts the high domain purchase cost. For those who just want to buy .co.uk domains then use 1and1.co.uk as they are by far the best price and their control panel is very good once you have your domains.

Selling Domains

We have used sedo.com in the past but its a bit hit or miss. We have had a few decent sales on there but the whole parking thing doesn´t work for us! Sedo has many competitors so you can try but we prefer the forums instead such as sitepoint.com . There are many others out there including dnforum, acorndomains and digitalpoint.

Using Domains

At the end of the day a domain should be used for a website! There are many good free template sites out there such as solucija.com or if you want something really professional try our own free templates website templateaces.co.uk
